Access packs: who can do what
Getting started
Permissions are packs, not job titles
You give people a named pack of permissions. Your school chooses the names. The product opens Map, Field, or Operations based on what that pack allows.
Example packs (rename freely)
| Pack idea | Typical access |
|---|---|
| Campus reporter | Map, report, personal impact, Learn |
| Field crew | Assigned jobs, start, proof |
| Operations | Assign, close, bins, Learn content, team |
| Observer | Insights and map without changing jobs |
| Map only | Locate bins without reporting tools |
App areas you may see
- Map: find bins and begin reports
- Field: job queue for crews
- Operations: dashboards, catalog, staff, settings
- Platform: only for Track Clean staff who support many schools
Practice
- Open Roles and review the packs your school already has.
- Open Team and see who holds which pack.
- Invite a training account with Map only, then sign in and notice which menus disappear.
Try this: Train new staff on a Map only pack first. Add reporting or ops packs after they are comfortable on the map.
